China x Newcountry!Reader Ch.1

   Yao wang, was a kind and sincere man, that had reached his age limit centuries ago. This man is better known to the world as the personification of China. Over the years he has been in charge of taking care of the majority of the Asian countries. The most recent one being Kiku Honda; Japan. Seeing as he raised Japan long ago, and had been left by all of his other "siblings" he was beginning to grow tired of living in a big house full of empty rooms. A house that once had its halls filled with childish laughter and the thumping of small feet against its hardwood floors.

   You awoke in a small bamboo forest with nothing but trees surrounding you. You slowly took in your surroundings wondering who you were and where you were. After coming up with nothing significant, you decided to take a look at your self. At first glance you could tell that you had _h/c_ hair, _s/c_ skin, and were wearing a fluffy white outfit of some sort. Your right wrist was adorned with a small metallic bracelet that after further examination contained the words '_c/n_' and said that you were a country personification. You guessed that this bracelet was put there so that if you were found the person would know a little about you.

   The aforementioned Yao was taking an afternoon stroll through the garden outside of his home, when suddenly he heard a faint giggling coming from the nearby bamboo forest. The giggling brought with it a faint nostalgia of  countries that had come and gone in the past. Sighing, Yao headed over to the tall bamboo shoots that seemingly reached the skyline. After making his way into the thick of the trees Yao was about to turn back when he suddenly spotted a large black and white panda. His eyes began to shine brightly as he quietly made his way over to the gentle creature, but he was stopped in his tracks when the previous giggling resumed. From his position it seemed as if the panda was making the childish noise. But that was nonsensical, pandas couldn't laugh, let alone giggle...could they? As Yao stood pondering this absurd question he saw a flash of light move across his field of vision. Curious as to what it was he approached the panda, only to find a small child residing on the ground in front of it.

                                      ~Yao's POV~
   As I walked over to the panda I spotted a small child. The child looked to be about the age of five, had short _h/c_ hair, _s/c_ skin, and was wearing a fluffy white outfit. As I stared at the small child I began to have snippets of different discussions come back to me, 'I heard rumor of a new territory forming soon' 'oh, so soon? Where will they be popping up this time?' 'I believe that there's a possibility of one turning up somewhere over in Asia...' I figured that this small gender neutral chibi thing must be the new territory I had heard so much talk about. And just when I was starting to feel the pain of living alone too. How ironic, I must be getting really old. I walked up to the small child and let out a gentle greeting. She suddenly looked at me and a small smile came across her face. "Hello sir. Who are you? Do you know where I am?...or who I am?" I started to squeal out loud in joy, she was so adorable!

                                      *normal POV*
   As you sat next to your fluffy playmate, he walked over and picked you up. "Hello sweetie, I am Yao Wang and we are currently in the grand country of China aru!" These words that he was saying were confusing you. What did aru, and grand mean? You sat in his arms while pondering this newly absorbed information. So you were in a place called China, and this person was Mr.Yao. Now all you wanted to know was what your name was, how you got here, and what this large fluffy thing you were playing with was.

   "Mr.Yao?" He looked at you awaiting your question. "Who am I?" Yao stared at your cute little questioning face. "Well, do you know how you got here?" You shook your head no. "Umm, do you have any personal items that you're carrying with you?" You were about to say no, when you began to search...you were wearing the puffy outfit and you had that small silver bracelet on your wrist. When you located this you lifted up your wrist and showed him. "Well there's this thing..." Yao's eyes widened slightly and he reached out to further examine the small piece of jewelry. "Do you know what this means?" "No sir. I don't really know anything." Mr.Yao rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Well, it means that you're a new country young lady!"

   At this moment in time you were especially confused. You appear in a strange place near a strange man, who's calling you a country, or whatever. But you quickly dismissed these thoughts.

   "So what does that mean Mr.Yao?" Yao began to explain how you were a territory, and that you must grow up to be a new Asian country since you had appeared in Asia....

   You were currently making your way to Mr.Yao's house, while riding atop what you learned was called a panda bear. Mr.Yao had spent the whole walk to his home talking about how you needed to meet all of the other countries, especially these people who he called 'the allies'. He also said that most of his friends were nice, but they all might be a little scary.

   The house that you finally reached was gigantic, (or to you it was anyway.) It had multiple floors, and too many rooms for you to count. Yao gave you permission to wander around as he made a few phone calls to the other 'allies'.

   The second floor of the house was much darker than the main floor. Every thing seemed to be filled with a thin layer of dust. The first room you came upon had a sliding door, and once you finally got it open you began to look around. This room had a bed which seemed to be a thin mattress with a pillow laying on the floor. The rest of the room seemed to be somewhat plain, except for a small bookshelf  in the corner. Once you got bored you decided to go look in the next room.

   The next room was a bit more decorated than the last. And this one seemed to be a bit more girlie, it had a bed that was set up similar to the last one, and had multiple floral decorations throughout. You personally preferred this room to the last one.

   The next room you went in to was a bit of a mess. It had old children's books laying in strange positions on the floor, and a creepy doll in the corner that looked like a young boy with black hair that was somewhat a bowl cut. You didn't know what scared you more about this doll, the fact that it had emotionless eyes, or the fact that it had a bra strapped onto it. You decide to leave this room.

   The last room at the end of the hallway was the most mysterious. It had a made up bed, and no decorations whatsoever. Finding this strange you decided to go look in the closet, and you were surprised to find colorful sticklike objects protruding at odd angles from a box. Curious as to what they were you decided to examine one.

   After picking up one of the small sticks you saw that the end of it had a small string on it, which of course you tried pulling which resulted in nothing happening. Slightly disappointed, you realized upon further examination that the stick had words on it.

   'Light fuse with match or lighter, attach to accompanying stand, and stay at a minimum of four feet away.' Since you didn't know what to use to light it you searched around for something, *cue spontaneous combustion*. "Oh wow! It actually lit up! How did that happen? Mr.Yao! Come look at what I fo-" you were cut off by a loud bang. The stick shot out of your little hands and began to whizz around the room, eventually crashing through a window.

   The loud noise had scared you to much for you to realize that small burns now resided on your hands.

                                      ~*Mr.Yao's POV*~
   I had just hung up the telephone when I heard _c/n_ yell some nonsense. Glancing toward the stairs leading to the second story I wondered what she could need. She was still yelling something when her small voice was cut off by a loud bang. My old legs couldn't move fast enough as I dashed up the stairs. I could only imagine who's room she had wandered into. Possibly Japan's? I peeked through the open doorway only to find tiny footprints in the dust but no _c/n_. Next was Taiwan's room and again only small footprints entering and exiting the room. South Korea's room was the next one to be checked. I assumed that she would be in here due to the fact that his room always had precariously placed objects lying haphazardly all around. But to my surprise there were foot prints leaving the room. But of course! She had to be in Hong Kong's room. I rushed into his old room and spotted _c/n_ standing dumbfounded  in the center of the room. His closet door was open and a box of fireworks was peeking out of it.

   Upon further examination I saw that there was a rather large whole in one of the rooms windows.

I turned around to face _c/n_ ready to scold her for the current condition of the window, until I notice the condition of her tiny little hands. The sight of them brought small tears to my eyes.

  I rushed over to her to make sure if she was ok, but she was still looking at the window. "Hey, _c/n_ it's ok, I can always get a new window. But how are your hands feeling ? Do they hurt?" She seemed surprised to see me next to her when she pulled her eyes away from the window. As if just registering what I had said, she looked down at her hands, and her eyes widened. "M..Mr.Yao, what happened to my hands? They hurt, the really hurt, and they burn. And it hurts if I move them." Tears began to well up in her eyes as the pain began to slowly manifest itself. I quickly picked her up, and brought her to the bathroom where I put burn medicine upon her wounds, and wrapped both hands in gauze. I gave her a quick peck on the forehead, and brought her downstairs for some lunch.
